I was able to find some of my stuff on archive.org back to 2000, but I know I had a site up before that.

The pale yellow background of #tinyap reminds me, fondly, of a website I did back in the late 90s or early 2000s using html. However, I was never so glad to get away from doing a site by hand, when apps like WordPress came along. Then, later, WP became a monster and it wasn't fun anymore.

Can't seem to move off square one to return to blogging under my personal domain name. Normies are limited. I already keep up with two #ClassicPress blogs, so i don't want to have to deal with more of that headache. Mataroa and Bear I like, but limited. This looks like a fine idea. My hosting provider doesn't offer any fediverse options, much less GTS, so this less-than-normie must think of other options. For a while now I've wanted to restart my full-fledged personal blog, but I already keep up with two websites for other things, and just that tires me out. For now I have my personal domain pointed at a spot. Still thinking ...
