Shut the door to pray. Shut out the distractions, the noise, the desire for attention. Shutting the door may well also mean turning off devices. Let silence reign, so God can speak.

Late start, but that's acceptable at this stage in life.
Always was a late bloomer.

Lots of running today, with the Missus.
One more outing tonight.
Had to take a quick sofa-nap.
Tell me I'm raring to go.

I'm assuming it's ok to post in foreign languages, since I see quite a few here on tinyap ...

Time to get out a new post for irmaos.org since it's been a while, it's a new month now, and there's a third reason I don't remember just now. :-P

Can I say it? "I love you"?

Brazil pulled it out of the first at the last minute. 2-1.

Brazil 1
Japan 1
This should not be. ;-)

There's a plain-text social medium out there, but it appears to be a closed system. I shared tinyap with the person who shared the link.

Good news!

Do hashtags require JS? I admit to missing them ...
YAHB@arce (2026-06-29 05:12:05)
Totally off all social media today. I think. It's been a long day. :)

Did profile bio info get whacked? I thought I had written something in there ...

Warmer and sunnier today, was which nice after days of rain and cold. But who knows what the night will hold?

In case you missed this elsewhere on the Fediverse, another 7Points, where I exercise my benevolent reign:

I almost panicked. The page said: “Page Views: 404”. Oh, wait, it was 404 for that period of time. Not an error message. Ufa!

Gonna start coming to tinyap by opening up the new note window. Will be more motivating that way.

It's been a few days since the last blog post. Life, work, taking care of Missus ...

Keyboard shortcuts are great, if you can remember them.

No time for socializing today, all done in person.

Friends came by, with their son, on their way home from a visit in the capital. Stayed for about two hours. Fine visit.

I got a chill. Temps are falling seriously in late afternoon. But it's pretty warm mid-day. Have to change several times a day.
YAHB@arce (2026-06-20 20:32:38)
Late start, some combination of food didn't allow for a full rest, but we're almost raring to go. Gimme a few hours and I'll be fully awake. :)
YAHB@arce (2026-06-20 07:25:28)
Was going to write it here, about the Missus's shoulder, but I did that on my blog, so here:
