"I am Um Ashraf, a 70-year-old mother. I live with my sick 72-year-old husband, who suffers from heart disease, asthma, and high blood pressure, and is in desperate need of open-heart surgery. I, too, am suffering and urgently require surgery for the herniated discs in my third and fourth vertebrae. We have absolutely no source of income and are struggling just to secure basic food and life-saving medication."
