もしかしたらクラウドインスタンスでまあまあ速いものが2028年頃に登場するかもしれないけれど、まあやっぱり手元で動くハードウェアがほしいね。

Apple M1自体は2020年に発売されたので10年遅れということになるが、まぁそんなもんだろという予想。AppleやQualcommが突然やる気になったら時期が早まる。

状況を整理すると、Mac mini (Late 2014) をサポートしていたのはMontereyまでだが、High Sierraはインストールできる環境が残っているものの、Mojave、Catalina、Big Sur、Montereyをインストールするのに必要なサーバーはもう接続できないっぽい。
