スプレッドシートのセルにリストがあるべきかどうかというと私は不要派だけど、Excelの使われ方からするとExcelにリストはあった方がいいと思う。

Excelがセルの中にリスト等を格納する件については、やや否が多めの賛否あるようですなぁ。自分的にはトラブル源になるからやめた方がよさそうに思いつつも、Perl 4 → 5 でスカラー型の中に配列の参照を入れられるようになった時も似たようなことを言われたのではないかと考えると、どう転ぶか変わらんなぁと今のところ判断保留ですわ。まぁ、この機能で .xlsm（マクロ入りExcelファイル）を使わなくても済むなら、ありかなとも
