“モンゴル東部ドルノド県ハルハゴル郡のヌムルグ自然保護区でこのほど、大規模な草原火災が発生した。日本企業の連結子会社で同国通信大手モビコムの日本人幹部らが、生態系が脆弱な保護区に車で立ち入ったことが原因だった。
モンゴルメディアによると、最初の通報は8日午前11時55分（日本時間午後0時55分）で、出火地点は保護区で立ち入りが厳しく制限される中核区域だった。
(中略)モビコムは声明で「当時は通信網の整備に向けた現地調査をしていた。その際に車両から出火し、草原火災を引き起こした」と説明した。一方で「Eguur News」などモンゴルの複数メディアは、モビコムの車列が狩猟や同国で絶滅危惧種に指定されるアムールイトウの釣りを計画していたと伝えている。”
