The main reasons are as follows:
1. The PeerTube developers have effectively made upgrading to PeerTube 8.0 on FreeBSD impossible, leaving us stuck on an old version that has now essentially become an exploit target.
2. I no longer have any motivation to operate a PeerTube instance just for myself. When videos are needed, it is sufficient for them to be hosted directly on the 076 Studio LLC website or Technical Suwako's homepage.
3. I want to eliminate, as much as possible, software written in JavaScript, Python, Ruby, and Rust from our infrastructure.
4. I also want to stop using software that requires PostgreSQL.
5. NAS storage capacity is critically low, and there are no spare SSDs left, so I need to free up space.
Items 3 and 4 will be implemented gradually.
At the moment, the only affected software is Mitra.
Mitra will also be shut down soon.
Some may think this is due to cost, but that is not the case.
The PeerTube instance is operated on our own infrastructure, using internal NAS for storage.
The fixed costs are:
- Static IP: ¥1,300/month
- Optical line: approx. ¥4,500/month
- Electricity: approx. ¥10,000/month
These expenses remain exactly the same whether PeerTube is running or not, so cost is not a factor at all.

PeerTube 終了のお知らせ熟慮の末、とても残念ですが、076動画 PeerTubeインスタンスをただちに終了する事を決めました。
主な理由は以下の通りです：
1. PeerTubeの開発者がFreeBSDでのPeerTube 8.0へのアップグレードを事実上不可能にしてしまった為、古いバージョンに留まるしかなくなり、今や実質的に脆弱性の標的となっています。
2. 自分一人だけの為にPeerTubeインスタンスを運営するモチベーションがもうありません。動画が必要な場合は、０７６スタジオ合同会社またはテクニカル諏訪子のホームページに直接落ちれば十分です。
3. 出来る限りインフラからJavaScript、Python、Ruby、Rustで書かれたソフトウェアを排除したいと考えています。
4. PostgreSQLを必要とするソフトウェアも使用を辞めたいです。
5. NASの容量が逼迫しており、予備のSSDも残っていない為、容量を解放する必要があります。
3番目と4番目の項目については、段階的に実施していきます。
現時点で影響を受けているソフトウェアはMitraのみです。
Mitraも近いうちに終了します。
費用が理由だと思われるかもしんが、違います。
PeerTubeインスタンスは自前のインフラで運用しており、ストレージも内部のNASを使用している為、
静的IPが月1,300円、光回線が月約4,500円、電気代が月約10,000円かかっています。
此れはPeerTubeを動かしていようがいまいが全く変わらない固定費なので、コストは全く同じです。

MariaDBやMySQLでは此の様な問題は一度も経験した事がありません。

我々のインフラはFreeBSDとOpenBSDサーバーのみで構成されていますが、モダンなウェブ開発者の殆どはBSD系でテストしていません。
テストする気すらありません。
其の結果、アップデートが壊れる事が非常に多いです。
偶々JavaScript、Python、Ruby、Rustで書かれたソフトウェアの作者はBSD系をテストせず、Linux互換性だけを気にしているのです。
此れらがまたしてもあたしの時間を無駄に奪い、本来やるべきゲーム開発の時間を削っています。
もううんざりしました。
Mitraを除き、現在公開向け・内部向け問わず稼働している物は全てLittle Beastで動いています。
Little BeastはPHPで書かれていますが、OpenBSD向けに作られており、FreeBSDとLinuxでも問題なく動作する事が確認済みです。
Little Beastは自分達で作っているので、普通に動きます。

@homlett @nohamux yeah, you have to enable "Advanced Boost Dialog" and quote from there for now, but in the next version it will be a separate button! Unfortunately, quote posts made it in close to the last version's release and there was no time to iron these out...

去年もう「オープンソース辞めた」と言ったけど、其の時はまだ経済的に余裕があったので、たまにオープンソースのソフトウェアを作り続けていた
でも今は経済状況がかなり悪くなってしまって、応募した全ての会社の採用担当が、何故落とされたのか全く教えてくれない
実力主義を嫌うアホだとしか思えない（他にどう解釈すれば良いのか分からない）
なので此れからは、オープンソースでコードを公開するのも辞める
プログラミングを教えるブログ記事も書くのを辞めて、
此れからはソフト（ゲーム、ツール、組み込み等）開発でちゃんと稼ぐ方向に切り替える
此処もまた、オープンソースが安定した経済状況でしか成り立たない贅沢な趣味である事を証明してしまった
寄付を集める仕組みを設けたとしても、殆ど誰も寄付してくれない
結局の所、自分を嫌っている人達の為にタダ働きさせられている様な物だわ
