Nostr is really attractive. And really frustrating.

Thursday columnist back today, after some weeks away due to family issues. Need to find more to keep the site moving.

Busy day yesterday caused us both to sleep in this morning, she much later than me. But for reasons.

Seems iambic.social has been down since yesterday. Will it return?

Getting my domain name hooked up to the new blog. Forgot I was forwarding it, had to turn that off. Funny that forwarding trumps all the alias and c-name stuff.
YAHB@arce (2026-06-02 23:04:09)
Looks like I'm on the way back to big-boy blogging. Stay tuned for details.

Pretty is as pretty does, my momma used to say
Simple is as simple goes, so throw some things away.

For some time now I've had a microblog on a little site that has no social aspect to it at all. Very simple. Pretty nice. Just occurred to me that #tinyap pretty much fills the bill for simplicity while still allowing for interaction. Even better.
YAHB@arce (2026-06-02 10:26:46)
# Markdown would be nice.
It's merely text, right?
With a bit of flair.

The world is small, inhabited by one.
And soon the population will be none.
