Seeing a lot of media in my feed today that doesn't have alt-text.

I've written a little guide for helping you get started with alt text:

https://mastodon.art/@Curator/112608136995394409

It doesn't have to be complicated, a few words will do (e.g. 'a watercolour painting of a mountain' or 'a photograph of an old rusted bicycle').

If you don't have the spoons, there are hashtags you can use (like # Alt4Me ) where people will write the alt text for you :otterheart: Or just ask!
