@TodePond @tibi2 Side note, @dthompson is working on a structural-editor IDE for @spritely / Scheme code that would qualify under your definition of IDE-that-is-not-a-text-editor, but it wouldn't LOOK like it is, because it's actually a structural AST-editing editor, but from screenshots it looks like you're editing plaintext (you aren't)
