@adele as someone you linked to, I have to say I cannot wrap my head around someone being so pro-smol web and yet also so pro-LLM and genAI. 

There is nothing small or low-tech about these corporate technologies that require the entire world's supply of random access memory and data centres the size of villages that make real people sick and ill.

I am so tired of this.

For few years, search engines are polluted by useless content trying to catch visitors for ads, and sometimes, when I do not manage to find a solution to resolve a coding or system error, I may use a LLM, but I use it the less I can.
I'm fatalist because I think that LLM is an existing tool not good for humanity, such as many other tools like planes, SUV, weapons and all things that use petrol... and human beings prefer useful tools to painful ones
