Unscrutable are its mysterious ways.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-12 19:58:51) Good morning to one and all!

I had a perfect verse while showering. By the time I got out and was writing it down, half of it disappeared from memory.

The mind is a funny thing!

YAHB@arce (2026-08-12 10:03:37) Another day is past, foward we inch toward the end. Machines would guide us, but we resist and push against the tide. The harder life is truer, straighter, more honest than leaning against the spider's web, which receives us gently and binds us then securely. We rest to fight again another day.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-12 09:15:37) A light-mode sight when one is in dark mode is blinding.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-12 06:09:50) Not too bright nor not too dark this theme;
But calm to read my slow-moving stream.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-12 06:04:35) Meat tonight for the win!
Veggies go in the bin!

YAHB@arce (2026-08-12 02:55:49) Dark mode tickles my innards.
Until I get tired and want to return to the light mode.
A mode for every mood.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 19:45:10) Good morning or tzag or happy day to you!

Reply to @arce YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 10:38:45) If I could change the username arce to yahb, I'd do that but it's probably not possible, would mess with the structure. Or something.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 10:26:25) Please note I've changed the display name. All else continues the same.

Reply to @aaa YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 10:21:35) Yes, very nice!

YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 09:40:14) He waited patiently, and then gave up.
No joy was found in holding an empty cup.

Reply to @aaa YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 09:38:56) Ah, I just now did a hard reload and the dark mode appeared! Woohoo!

Reply to @aaa YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 09:38:02) OK, will try again later then. Thanks!

Reply to @aaa YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 08:57:37) I double-checked. Both the notebook and browser (Brave) are set for dark mode, but tinyap is showing a light dusty yellow background with dark text and blue links. Even refreshed to see if it would change. Seems I'm stuck in light mode.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-11 06:11:21) @aaa
Any plans for a dark mode?

YAHB@arce (2026-08-08 09:39:51) Far from the net and web and all things social
Were we for hours today, and not at all woeful.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-06 21:10:28) Bom dia!

YAHB@arce (2026-08-03 19:45:17) The workings of the brain, the sleep of night,
Are mysteries greater than Mauna Kea's height.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-02 19:38:45) Good morning or, as the case may be, tzag!

Skies are clear and bid us look above.

YAHB@arce (2026-08-02 08:13:13) Movement is tiring. Make it all stop!

YAHB@arce (2026-08-01 10:40:55) July, where did it go?
