@cheeaun @phanpy

Testing is a bit more since posting. It doesn't happen on every image, and it's not the same file ever time, and it doesn't even happen on the SAME image consistently if I go back and hover. But also, right after posting the post above, I got a non-file-name hover-text that was still unrelated to the image -looks like a hovertext from the Mastodon client? Which I had opened earlier but was not open at this time. ---Attachments--- image: https://m.f-h.co/cosocial-ca/media_attachments/files/117/204/778/444/507/252/original/12dd05d5fd2b5fbe.png

@cheeaun Hey there - I have concluded I've bothered you unnecessarily- I apologize. This first manifested while using Phanpy but it's now happened on other non-social web sites in Safari and NOW I've seen it in my Apple Photos app. This is clearly a bug somewhere in MacOS, maybe with the magic trackpad innards.

Please consider it a vote of appreciation for Phanpy that I use it so much it's what brought the bug to my attention.
