Happy we got this far with GCD 008: many contributions by people from very different opinions, leading to a compromise document that the majority of team members either supported or deemed acceptable.

As @csantosb put it, that’s a sign of maturity of the community.

In this case, what this highlights seems to have to do with the process more than with the text: the GCD process is ambitious (it’s about building things together), and in its current incantation, it’s vulnerable.

So the next step is probably to reassess and adjust the process (GCD 001) in light of recent GCDs.

And then? The LLM issue will keep coming back; lack of regulation is a de facto policy, that we know many in the community oppose, so I suppose we’ll have to do something about it.
