Switched from sketchbook to Arches hot press watercolor paper. It's interesting how differently it handles ink than it handles watercolor. The ink soaks in, but there's no feathering, and you can get a beautiful, luminous wash. I'll do a few more on this paper and a few more on a bristol kind of paper that I've used in the past, and see how they turn out.
