We are fortunate to live in a coffee-producing country and buy our coffee from a small producer in the state north of us. Commercial coffee throws in more than the bean, and it is awful.

so true. if I never bought beans from small producer, I will never know the taste of an actual coffee bean. even some labeled "100% coffee" in the grocery store are awful because I know this is not the taste of pure coffee.
