@grishka that has nothing to do with the medium, buffets serve a lot of food, all you can eat, but that doesn't mean you will develop an eating disorder by simply visiting one. It's way more complicated than that, but I wanted to simplify it.

@dansup well, if you have free easy access to a buffet all day every day with no limitations whatsoever, and you lack self-control, which kids often do, I'm sure you will develop an eating disorder

@grishka but that's exactly the point I was trying to make, algorithms can be dangerous yeah, but like I said, Loops has a fixed recommendation feed limit that resets daily, preventing doomscrolling.

We're both right, but it's not really fair to compare Loops to TikTok as they have way more dark patterns and an algorithm that is more addictive.

Also, random question, but have you considered getting a dog?
