Remember that composite video software decoder thing I made to teach myself DSP? It turns out a guy in my city got fascinated enough by it and wanted to give me a tape with a distorted recording that some decoders have trouble with to see what mine will do, and "a PAL -> SECAM transcoder" that he didn't need.
The transcoder turned out to be this beast of a video mixer. I guess I do analog video now... By the way, my decoder is somewhat crap with signal this clean.

This thing is quite impressive, at least to me. It can take 4 signals that don't have to be in sync with each other and do clean switches and transitions between them. It can also overlay a logo on the output. The inputs and the output can be SECAM or PAL in any combination. You can probably run a small TV channel with one of these.

Actually, technically it has 8 inputs because every input channel takes either composite or s-video (you choose between the two using the buttons in the top left). Though the transitions when you do that would probably not be as clean as when you switch between inputs. I don't have anything that can output s-video to test that.
