A large academic publisher has found my OER slides at https://fietkau.science/teaching/intro_hci and asks if I've ever considered writing a textbook.

I'm not naive enough to take that as a compliment, but it has me pondering the ramifications. Writing a book has never been a life goal for me, although it could be a way to enable self-study in a way that slides don't.

Would you want to read an “Introduction to human-computer interaction” textbook written by me, following the topic overview from slide 1-20 onward?
