TIL: A client can be so loud (transmitting at full transmission power) that it can cause a repeater to go "blind". I had been struggling to figure out why my #MeshCore repeater that I put in the backyard would get a packet from my companion device in the house and then not repeat it. Or it just wouldn't hear the companion device at all.

Now I know, I had my companion transmit power set at 22dBm and it was blasting my repeater that sits 20 feet away in the backyard. I lowered the client's transmit power to 3dBm and things are working great.

I love learning new things.
