Another fantastic episode.
Kyle Chandler is absolutely fantastic as Hal Jordan. Just enough weariness, snark and and “I don’t give a fuck” that it works. Aaron Pierre is equally good! And together, well, this is casting perfection.
Sheriff Kane (Kelly Mcdonald) is an interesting character — and from Gotham too!

I need to learn more about the Manhunters.
It sounds like the theory that John Stewart’s dad being a Green Lantern too won’t work since Hal Jordan explicitly stated that the ring came to him from Abin Sur.
I did not know about the creating living things bit.
Hal Jordan driving around town with a group of dead naked aliens was both morbid and hilarious.
While the show is mostly serious, the levity that it has weaved throughout is welcomed and worked in well.

Stellar episode. And just enough special effects to keep its super hero edge. I don’t know why, but I LOVE seeing Hal take off.
Maybe because he has this “every dude” vibe. It reminds me of Nathan Petrelli fleeing HRG and The Haitian in Heroes.
