I've got many friends in the FreeBSD space (especially @kdedude who is 💯) and I want to see KDE Plasma be the premier experience for BSDs. (Don't tell anyone, but I occasionally fool around with FreeBSD for funsies! 😜) FreeBSD has come a long way... I can easily get something up that works, which is way better than back when I first tried it over a decade ago. Y'all are doing awesome work! Still would like a SimpleDRM equivalent though. 😉

@neal @kde The FreeBSD Foundation''s laptop support project started with a focus on drivers and low-level things. We've made good progress there and are now starting to look at a roadmap for effort further up the stack.

FreeBSD has come a long way... I can easily get something up that works, which is way better than back when I first tried it over a decade ago. Y'all are doing awesome work!
