Building software with LLMs is just using modern tech to do a job. Like programmers have always done. It doesn’t mean you’re reliant upon the LLM. If they went away tomorrow I’d just return to hand cranking the code and being 5-10x slower at my job.
There’s also a massive difference between “vibe coding” and LLM assistance. I review (almost 😅) every line of code, tweak it, make sure it’s as good as I think it can be. Just as I’ve always done. I just do things faster and with more notification.

Go and look at all of my code, critique it, tell me what's slop, explain how it could be better.
Then make your code open source and I'll do the same.
