@robb webmentions work! except the emoji doesn't. your 👀 arrived as ????. One ? per UTF-8 byte, so webmention.io's column is utf8 not utf8mb4 🫠

@olly I had assumed you were doing it yourself but yes for webmention.io, this is an issue that's been there for quite a while. My post from two years ago mentions it (https://rknight.me/blog/webmentions-redux/) and I'm sure there's a GitHub issue somewhere about it
