"NPR doesn’t currently [in 2023] display preview cards from Mastodon instance. Why? Because the requests coming from the preview card generation service sends a user-agent string that is not allowed by the NPR servers. "

Looks like you can only add people to collections who have the latest Mastodon code running on their server.

Ideally, all the extra information would be included in the server metadata, but until then, maybe server admins interested in using this project can reach out and I can add it manually?
