Well, I am here and have been for a while. On Mastodon albeit on a different instance.

I have been known to practice the use of dry humour and irony. Making sharp contrasts and pointing out uncomfortable similarities can appear in my discussions with others.

Pro-European, left of centre in a society that is still intrinsically opposed to both.

1/n OK about to start dipping my toes into the world of #selfhosting.

Reasons. 
My disappointment with the new #Mastodon  web UI just reminds me of the many issues of using the "cloud", that is having your stuff on someone else's server. 

My disappointment with those working on the new UI sound just like any other UX developer in a big oligarch owned company who are not going to go back or not make any significant improvements to their beloved concept. 

Time to jump ship?
