@vnpower Hetzner is also a nice option since their VPS is super cheap, though latency depends on where you are.

@haturatutaro @vnpower I was looking into Hetzner and it seems like a good option. Any additional alternatives in Asia, for example? I fear Hetzner IPs could be blocked in countries that actively block VPNs

It depends on which country you’re in, but I think Vultr is a strong option since they have regions all over the world, are affordable, and are easy to use.
I used to run a WireGuard server on Vultr before. The latency was good, and even the smallest plan with an IPv4 address had decent vCPU performance, so the overall cost performance was pretty good.

I haven’t used it recently though, so I’m not sure how clean their IP reputation is nowadays.
