I think the idea behind the IndieWeb is still simple. But everyone adds different elements to it and tries to convince others, through words or actions, that their concept is the best.
It’s a bit like a plain notebook, which is fully functional, but someone has decided to turn it into a system for managing every aspect of their life. And they’re trying to force this sort of multi-tool down other people’s throats.

@konstruct Would you be surprised to learn that that is one of the accounts that we reported to infosec.exchange for racism who obviously did not get properly moderated by infosec.exchange and now continues to exist, behaving like this? :BlobCat_Facepalm:
