@sylvia Yes I do. I've been able to set it up as before and the Pika team shifly migrated by old posts and images even creating Alias links to make them work.
So far so good!
So you went for prebuild instead of doing it yourself?

I need the power of the #fediverse : For an upcoming presentation I am looking for examples many people will understand where the software caused consumer electronic devices not to work anymore.
E.g. company decided not to update the software which caused the device to stop, company disappeared and e.g. servers not available and therefore the device did not start anymore, etc.
Currently interested in some fresh examples I could use. Any pointers?

next #GoToSocial release (v0.23.0) will hopefully include:
better full-text search that actually works: @kim has been working on this using an extension for our WASM-ified SQLite
the ability to not merely connect to existing relays but to host multiple relay actors yourself, on your own instance, which other people can push to and follow
we're still deep in the code mines working on both of these things :)

@sherold @maique does `from:me` operator work on your instance? That menu 'Search my posts' appears based on "feature detection" by testing that operator in the background.

There is still the old school workaround to use the "from:me" operator in general search, which delivers the same output. But that's a bit cumbersome from time to time.

I am kinda officially back to MacOS. I've been using my old m1 air with asahi, but since I got deals with some sponsor, and they require me to use app that available only in MacOS and Windows but not Linux, so yeah I used my dual-boot of MacOS and Asahi.
one thing I realize that its nice using mac since you can switch between macos and asahi pretty seamless. at least I think get yourself something like 16 gigs or 32 gigs of memory if you could afford it, its nice to have to extras. unlike mine capped to 8 now. for disk, do 256 or 512 then work on something like external disk for daily use and backup. preferably accessible through cloud as well
