弾道ミサイル発射や緊急地震速報などの緊急情報を全国の自治体に送信する全国瞬時警報システム（Jアラート）で、人工衛星を経由して送信されるデータの暗号化や発信元を保証する機能がないことが30日、専門家への取材で分かった。総務省関係者も認めた。専門家は「第三者が成り済まして偽の警報を送信することが可能」と指摘。悪用されれば国民生活に大きな混乱が生じる恐れがあり、国の対策は急務だ。
同省消防庁国民保護室は共同通信の取材に「セキュリティーの観点から詳細は明らかにできないが、安定運用に常に取り組んでいる」としている。
