@r0b I’m not sure, but the photo of a woman planting flowers with one hand whilst holding Copilot in the other looks very sad. It paints a picture in which people can’t manage a thing without their LLMs. That’s sad. But I understand the idea – building a narrative using an ‘innocent’ photo shoot.

元々Yubicoが言ってたパスキーってGoogleとかAppleみたいなメタクソ企業が提供するパスワードマネージャにFIDO2資格情報を入れてもらうって感じだったと思っているんだけど。
推進してる人が思い描いてる未来像が変化する中で、OSレベルのフィッシング対策統合を指してるのか、資格情報を紛失しないことが大事なのか、FIDO2/Webauthnの普及が大事なのか乖離しているし、想定から違う中で混み入った不都合や特徴を持ち出していて訳わからない

パスキーって言葉を最初に見た時は、「クラウド同期された発見可能なFIDO2資格情報」だった気がしたんだけど、いつの間にか定義が曖昧なマーケティング用語になってた

それならユーザーの資格情報紛失を考えなくて良いわけではなさそうで、殆どのサービスでは資格情報のリセットをするためにパスキーオンリーではログインできなさそうな気が。
