And we shed them as soon as it became practical to do so.
You will never find it practical to shed Claude, because:
1. you will never be able to afford the necessary hardware to do so (Moore's law is dead),
2. you will never obtain an adequate corpus of training data (because you, lacking billions of dollars, are actually subject to copyright), and
3. you will be prohibited by law to do so (because compliance with AI regulations costs billions).

On the current spam wave some of you experience on the Fediverse: I think @stux is right by suspecting it might be one or more 3rd party apps or services that got hacked or are leaking authentication tokens.
So. Go to your account settings and check the "Authorized Apps" part. Revoke the permissions of apps you don't use anymore. Consider it housekeeping and make it a regular Todo :)

あ、最近あった謎エピソード、友達のスマホがどの充電器でもどのケーブルでもダメになったのに私が貸したケーブルをさしたら充電されてそのあとほかのケーブルでも動くようになったやつあったな
