@ben Hey, Ben. We have a lot of ways to work together on the Fediverse!
The Social Web Community Group (SocialCG) moves the ActivityPub standard and its extensions forward.
The Social Web Foundation (my employer) brings together implementers of ActivityPub to advocate for the standard and build enabling technology.
IFTAS supports moderators.
We have a half-dozen events in the community each year: FediMtl, Fedicon, FOSDEM, Berlin Fediday, DWeb Camp.

@jae @fionescu Mitra can connect to multiple networks at once, but one of them must be chosen as primary, usually it's clearnet. My instance connects to Tor, I2P and Yggdrasil instances.
I am not sure if that counts as clean interop.
I think seamless interop without touching clearnet may be achieved with Mitra Mini

Is there a #Buffer equivalent for Mastodon/fediverse? I currently only post to Mastodon anyway and on a single account; I just want something I can easily schedule posts for later at reasonable intervals so I don't spam too many at once. Which I usually fail at anyway, but that is the intent.

PeerTube is a viable alternative to YouTube
Sure it does not have the reach, but it has something more precious for creators like Steven Colbert. You can take control.
This seems daunting, but it is actually quite simple. Using a very modest server setup ($7.25 per month) @oldcoder is now hosting Only In Monroe commercial free, as a demonstration to creators everywhere.

PeerTube As Alternative To YouTube's Monopoly
Recently Steven Colbert surprised everyone by hosting Only In Monroe just 24 hours after his last Late Show appearance. It was available on YouTube. This was cool, but viewers also had to also watch gross commercials for things like anti-diabetes potions and herbal laxatives. Also, YouTube videos are subject to Google's algorithms. This is just trading one oppressive gatekeeper for another.
There is another way.
