@cheeaun I think I tried setting the collection language from the mastodon web client before and it didn't show up in the resulting data, but haven't checked recently.

@fedicat oh, that should work 🤔 - name is the only required one.
The fields for collections are not very "conventional" compared to other platforms. I also excluded hashtag field on Phanpy because I don't see it working yet.

@cheeaun Yeah, I hardcoded the other required parameters for now. From the doc, I thought name was the only required one, but I was getting errors, so looking in the source it seems description, sensitive, and discoverable are also required.

I’m patterning management of #mastodon collections similar to how manage lists, from a profile you can add/remove accounts from collections and create new collections to add to

I've not exactly been secretive with my disgust towards Platner. I pray to god he drops out and seeks genuine therapy instead of trying to run for office. I also pray for his victims who continue to be told their stories aren't worth telling by his supporters.

Vulkan Video H.264/H.265 Encode Now Working For Intel Alchemist GPUs On Linux
Earlier this year Vulkan Video encode was disabled on newer generations of Intel graphics hardware due to insufficient testing with the Intel ANV open-source driver. That impacted Gen12.5 graphics and newer - basically Alchemist and anything newer. Now at least Gen12.5 graphics with the likes of the Arc A-Series is seeing H.264 and H.265 encoding re-enabled...

Finally implemented FEP-0806: Simple client-side encryption in Mitra Mini. Right now it only does encryption-decryption. No delivery yet - because gateways don't support EncryptedActivity activities.
The scheme was changed to HPKE (RFC 9180 Hybrid Public Key Encryption).

I just discovered the Fediverse (English) Wikipedia page has a huge section on AT Protocol and I question why. It seems like excessive promotion of Bluesky and its protocol that is not compatible with ActivityPub, both technically and in spirit. Illustrating bridging isn't the same as compatibility. Might as well add sections for other random network protocols like XMPP (Jabber).
