Missus staying in tonight while I do a study out in the northside, she a bit out of sorts, must be a cold because of the weather.

YAHB@arce (2026-06-17 06:03:49)
Missus not feeling well, I did more house and kitchen tasks today, went out and got some food items as well, regular house-husband.

Is it true there are no stupid questions?

Missus watching Brazil-Morocco game on the notebook. Me, goofing around.

Have gotten rather decent at fixing breakfast, like eggs and bacon.

How can a cold front warm up the temperatures we're feeling? Not a subjective thing, methinks.

🦉@aaa (2026-06-12 23:46:22)
FreeBSDのブートローダのアセンブリ実装(stand/efi/loader/arch/amd64/start.S)を見てみると変なことをしている。
push rcx -> push rdx -> pop rcx -> pop rdx -> push rcx -> push rdx -> call self_reloc -> (pop..)

Another zap treatment for the Missus. She'll finish these up next week.

Stick with a thing once you decide on it. Don't change horses in the middle of the stream.

No blog post today; I was caring for and transporting the Missus to and fro therapy. We have a commitment tonight, also. I did make a start on it, though. Maybe tomorrow ...

A wealth of information lies just below the surface at our fingertips, but wisdom must be dug out from the deep, often at great effort and expense.

Bought a new lamp for the bedroom, like it well. Soft light. Replaces one that 20+ years old.
