@nina_kali_nina Wondering if you or some of your followers know how good/bad an Asus UL30vt would be for installing/testing BSD on? It has old optimus or pre optimus dual iGPU/dGPU with nvidia G210m as the discrete GPU. Which my research suggests biggest likely problem point outside of wifi. IDK how describe my skill level: BSD noob, but self taught Peek/Poke back in the day w C64, using 4 Linux distros regularly, plus Mac, Chromebook (QEMU/KVM Virt running MX XFCE), & bit of Windows.

You can check hardware support by running GhostBSD (for FreeBSD) or Fuguita (for OpenBSD) from usb key. For NetBSD you can use standard image and review dmesg after dropping to the shell. Wifi support can be checked by trying to connect to the Internet using installer's utilities.
