@binarydigit That’s great!

We’re on a similar journey (I’m even writing a blog series about it)

although I’ve always kept journalling on paper 🙂 I feel so much better if I don’t look at screens all the time.

@bstn @sylvia same tbh so I'll definitely keep posting about any habit that sticks!

@bstn @binarydigit well, for me the key was not to force anything. I always stick to a page a day. I can easily find one or two things to write about that happened that day :) and if I want to write more, I can.

It also helps to have moments during the day where you sit to write something, even if it's one page.

One of the things I do every day to close out my journal page or pages is to write a list of things I'm grateful for. It's such a wonderful way to journal (and sometimes my gratitude log is the only thing I write for the day)

@bstn @sylvia @binarydigit When I started journalling I just picked a time of day that I'm most likely to feel like doing it. For me, that's last thing at night, just before bed. I like that time too because it allows me to offload the days "woes" if I need to. It's quite mentally cleansing. :)

Really it's just a simple matter of choosing a rough time, then doing it every day (or as often as you want or are able to). It doesn't take too long before it's a habit - a few weeks maybe.

@bstn @sylvia @binarydigit Also, if you find yourself struggling to fill a page, well that's what stickers are for! 😂
