@civodul Well welcome back, I bet your mailbox had exploded! 😃
Aside from process two things struck me:
1. We need to work on our maturity of discussing issues and particularly minority view points not **feeling** discarded.
Partially about respect in discussions, acknowledgement and allowing minority view points to be expressed and explored.
In two GCD's we've seen this sense from the minority position that the group dynamic doesn't support counter positions.
It's def about *feelings*

@futurile @civodul guix is overcompensating for the "minority viewpoint" to the point that it has allowed the GCD process to be effectively disabled. there's a clear case of sealioning happening and the response has been extremely disappointing.

Agreed - controversial socio-political GCD's are struggling to pass. The project is a "broad tent" and that has good effects. Generally we've had little drama. But that tent also brings some challenges. Shifting to a different voting system may help.
I'm personally not comfortable with using the term "sealioning" for what has happened. I don't have a reason to question a committed contributors stated opinion or to question their integrity. People can just disagree!
