amazing the hold that Java still has over CS curriculum. I graduated from college 14 years ago and it was almost entirely Java. now I've got a kid taking an AP CS class in high school and it's *still* all Java! madness!

@dthompson Here I thought Python was king in academics now. That is, where they're not using some functional language to "stretch" student brains
