with some effort I think you could draw a line from the touch screen to LLMs in terms of computing becoming increasingly less precise on purpose.

being on a phone sucks. you can't fucking type on them so you need the computer to tell you what you might have meant to type. if you swipe the screen slightly the wrong way it does an entirely different action. what the hell happened to computers! I'm an old man yelling at a cloud!!!
