once again reminded that the *only* direct transit between Providence and Worcester, the Amtrak thruway bus (which you could only book as part of a larger itinerary with a train trip), was eliminated in July. as someone in the below reddit thread says, these are the second and third biggest cities in New England and there is *no transit* between them!!! there's an entire fucking railroad between them named the Providence and Worcester Railroad!
