the top comment on HN about Andrew Kelley's response to the sloppification of Bun is that it is unprofessional and embarrassing for Zig. AI boosters live on a completely fucking different planet from the rest of us.

Bun was acquired by Anthropic. Jarred Sumner is surely very rich if he wasn't already. he can take a jab or two! weird nerds don't need to defend his obviously profit-motivated behavior!

these AI companies routinely make examples of people that resist them and it's unprofessional to throw some frankly mild criticism back? Anthropic is giving Zig the treatment that OpenAI gave Studio Ghibli and Zig is supposed to just say nothing? What Anthropic has done is purely technical but Andrew responding... that's politics! and that's bad!
