@dthompson I now read both blog posts. Do I understand it correctly that the Bun dev spent $165.000 on (still subsidized) API prices in two weeks to make the code harder to understand and slower to compile without creating functional improvements?

Does the material advantage boil down to “we can use all Rust libraries now”?

@ArneBab that's about right. they claim that there were a whole bunch of improvements but those are called into question by andrew's response.
