TIL that some of the most popular static site generators have *hundreds* of transitive dependencies. this is just the way everything is now, even simple tools.

@dthompson because it's a static site generator I have just dragged forward my virtualenv which runs an older version of pelican as is. I do not want to have to deal with updates >_>
