looks like Guix GCD 008, "Commitments and policy on the use of “generative artificial intelligence”" is dead in the water because one person, on the final day of deliberation, voted against it.

does this mean genAI contributions are at the discretion of the reviewer? or does it mean they are not allowed at all because we can't attribute copyright to anyone? something else?

@dthompson @mcc How does a project focused on fucking bootstrapping from nothing justify using a technology that prides itself on being unaccountable and unknowable?! Is that not the completely fucking diametrically opposed to doing a bootstrap in the first place?!
