I enjoy reading articles about minimal react-like libraries, but templating always looks bad. SXML, by contrast, is so much better. JS could really benefit from quasiquote. of all the JS libraries I have seen, only Mithril has a decent pure JS templating solution.

I haven't looked at it in a long time but it seems that mithril is still maintained and hasn't been slopped up. really underrated JS library that I never hear anyone talk about!
