@the_wub Why not use another web client? I use Enafore. Which is old and not maintained, so it doesn't support all new features, but it's the only client that I can stand.

Some other web clients (aka front-ends) for Mastodon/GoToSocial etc, which you can use via their websites, some instances or even self-host (IIRC)
