Yes. The answer is *yes*.

The people I know who have decent principles (and the spines to stick to them) are not going to lower their standards just because someone is a "long-term blogger". Tenure doesn't offset the harm here.

@neatnik Staying true to one’s principles is a difficult path, full of challenges and constant effort. And not just in terms of self-improvement.
