in this thread of 140 messages over five months of (i assume) human effort in reverse engineering, one reply mentions that after that was done claude was used to find a way to trick the stock firmware into conveniently accepting the upload of the reverse-engineered firmware

free software convention keynote: slop machines perform superhuman feats of reverse engineering! it's hard to ignore these benefits to your digital autonomy!
