During the course of this discussion, an AI-tagged world was removed as an official action by the moderation team, even though this was later acknowledged to have been a mistake.

The reason has already been explained in the official comments: an AI-related world appeared in Featured, someone complained that they found it unpleasant and asked for it to be removed from Featured, and because it could not be removed from Featured directly, the world itself was removed instead.
